Data Search

Instruction:

1) What to search:
Users can search for species and compound information of interest. In addition, we provided the function of converting chemical information and 2D chemical structure of compound.

2) How to search:
The search page provided two search methods, one is text-based search and the other is similarity-based structure search. We recommend use text-based search if users know the species or compound name or information to be searched for and use similarity-based structure search if users only know compound structure. Similarity-based structure search can also be mapped into the PubChem database.

3) View results:
The results of the text search will be displayed in the form of compound cards and users click compound name to view compound details. Similarity-based structure search results include 2D structure pictures of the query compound and matching compounds in ACDB. Users click 2D structure image matched in ACDB to view compound details. Tanimoto similarity reflects the similarity between compounds and displays in descending order of similarity.

Text-based search

Search species:

Text-based search function introduction:
Users select species name in the dropdown menu to search and search compound according to the following methods: searching by compound name, smiles, cid, iupac name, inchi, inchikey and molecular formula.

Similarity-based structure search function introduction:
1) Draw your chemical structure in the drawing panel below.
2) Click the Get Mol button.
3) Then click the Mol To Smiles button.
4) Finally click submit.
5) In addition, the text box on left also converts the mol or smiles that users entered into chemical structure and generates it in the drawing board on the right. User need to input chemical format and click the Draw Mol button.
